Position Overview
Navistar is currently seeking an Entry-level UX Designer to take our business to the next level. This position is based out of our World Headquarters in Lisle, Illinois, outside of Chicago.
As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for commercial vehicle service applications.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and stakeholders, to create seamless experiences that meet the unique needs of our users in the commercial vehicle service sector.
Responsibilities This position will support our Digital Solutions department within Service Solutions. Responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to : Lead the design process from concept to final hand-off, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions. Support UX Research initiatives as required.
Develop user stories, personas, and storyboards. Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to support UI development.
Validate and test UI concepts with end users using established usability testing methods. Track UX trends and look for creative ideas from analogous industries.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 2 years of software engineering experience OR Master’s degree OR At least 4 years of software engineering experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
