SUMMARY
The Territory Manager represents Citizen Watch America to prospective and current accounts and is responsible for generating sales through independent and local regional retailers in the assigned geography.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to present product to retail buyers, solicit orders and / or service accounts.
- Drives sales to achieve targets within territory through development of existing retail partners and through prospecting of new retail opportunities.
- Prepares weekly call reports in a timely manner for submission to Regional VP.
- Responsible for maintaining basic inventory level at all customer sites and preparing reorders as necessary.
- Reviews Sell thru analysis and negotiates order replenishment with buyer
- Ensures and improves store product presentations through merchandising, display, and secondary exposure opportunities. Including digital presentation- social to store philosophy.
- Maximizes advertising opportunities within Company Co-op and Advertising Guidelines.
- Trains retail associates on products and programs
- Responds and assists in resolving retailer concerns
- Assists in Credit / Collections in resolving outstanding retailer balances
- Participates as active team member in local, regional, and national sales meetings.
- Responsible for full security of sample line in accordance with corporate policy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Consumer product sales (watch, jewelry, luxury), a plus.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft products : Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn and use computer software.
- Valid and clear driving record.
- Able to travel 75 -100% of the time.
- Able to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
