VP, Sales - T & H, Entertainment, CPG and Auto (Remote)
The VP, Sales will lead a team of strategic and diverse industry sales executives focused on the T & H, CPG, Auto and Entertainment Industries.
This leader must be able to empower, measure, monitor and hold the team accountable of individual sales quota. This strategic leader collaborates not only with their direct team but is also focused on growing a diverse book of business with the support of Acxiom’s Industry Leadership Team.
Building a new business strategy to enhance and expand White Label CDP, CDP Partner Services, Digital Marketing Services, Identity and Data.
This leader will report directly into the Senior Vice President, Head of Sales.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ultimately responsible for the growth of Acxiom’s revenue footprint.
- Drives, refines and leads usage of Acxiom’s sales playbook and methodology.
- Coaches teams to help grow relationships by providing consultation and expertise : aligning client business needs to Acxiom products, solutions, and services.
- Evaluate sales territories to ensure proper coverage and sales capacity aligned with the business’s growth strategies.
- Evaluate and assign new logo target accounts in alignment with the businesses targeted growth needs.
- Proactively monitors accounts and determines avenues for account growth, including new agency partnerships.
- Successfully forecast and manage pipeline of sales team.
- Assist in the recruiting and training to grow and maintain a growing sales organization.
- Develop and execute on quarterly Plan to Make Plans with sales representatives.
- Inspire, lead and coach sales team.
- Develops plans and strategies for sustained growth of the business.
- Creates a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
- Leads the sales teams working collaboratively with operations and account management resources to consistently deliver against our business objectives.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.
- Execute formal Associates Review of your sales team performance on a bi-annual basis.
QUALIFICATIONS : Required :
Required :
Bachelors Degree or the equivalent.
5+ years of experience in sales management and leadership.
10+ years of experience selling in a quota-carrying role.
- 5+ years of sales team management experience.
- Experience in Marketing and Marketing Technologies, including digital / media, data insights, and analytics experience.
Preferred :
- 8+ years’ experience in sales leadership and selling.
- Proven record of meeting / exceeding goals involving large, complex deals with multiple stakeholders, including multiple logos.
- Superior relationship management experience and networking skills for both internal and external customers with (C-level) executives.
- Excellent client handling skills, with ability to present and articulate various points of view.
- Demonstrated ability to lead distributed sales teams across cultures, lines of business, and geographies.
- Leadership ability, able to win the confidence and trust of his / her team, shape the culture, and exert influence both internally and externally.
- Operates successfully in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

- Superb negotiator and communication skills that inspire and motivate teams.
