The following is a list of job duties for the position of Warehouse Manager. These responsibilities and physical requirements include, but are not limited to, the following :
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule warehouse and delivery staff to ensure safe and efficient operation of all warehouse functions.
- Supervise and schedule maintenance of company delivery vehicles; per set preventive maintenance program.
- Oversee warehouse operations to exceed expectations for productivity, daily workflow, product availability, and accuracy.
- Ensure that merchandise is received and stored efficiently and economically and maintain required records in conformance with company policy.
- Supervise the proper routing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment and delivery by customer instructions.
- Supervise the proper handling of inter-company transfers of inventory.
- Maintain all equipment in good working order.
- Use excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to deal positively with senior management, sales staff, employees, vendors, and customers.
- Train, schedule, and supervise a warehouse staff of approximately 4 employees.
- Proficiently use required technologies, including distribution and office software.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, safely.
- Verify that forklift / truck operators are within regulatory compliance.
- Resolve any delivery complaint issues quickly and effectively.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Adherence and compliance with the company’s Certificate of Conflicts of Interest, Confidentiality and Standards of Business Ethics, and Hiring Standards.
- Other duties as assigned by Branch Manager
Requirements
- Strong judgment and decision-making ability.

- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team player who works productively with a wide range of people.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of logistics, including carriers, shipping policies and procedures.
- Operates forklifts in compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
- Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience implementing and maintaining safety initiatives for company machinery within the warehouse.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- BIlingual preferred
- Education :
- High school diploma / GED not acceptable.
- Preferred Experience :
- 1 year in a similar position
- 2 years in a progressive position
