Your Primary Responsibilities :
- Compiles all space related reports, to include square footage, vacancy, space types, seat locations, pivot tables with monthly headcount by work location, cost center and site etc.
- Obtains space programming information, prepares space plans, interior design assignments and reviews with departments.
- Able to compile data, perform design computations and prepare AutoCAD plans.
- Runs project team meetings and coordinates project work for all appropriate DTCC personnel, design team, contractors, vendors, and key partners, and maintains minutes and project documentation and disseminates relevant information and updates through email communications, newsletters, and digital signage.
- Liaison to landlord for coordinating building approval of design and construction documents.
- Works with architect and engineers to coordinate designs and procurement on furniture specifications and orders, and professional services contracts.
- Works closely with procurement to onboard new vendors, implement bidding and selection process and through creation of RFP documents for design, construction, furniture, and furnishings contracts.
- Assist in project finish and color selection, interior spatial design, and document coordination from schematic design through construction documents.
- Prepares budget and construction costs and supervises day-to-day construction and furniture activities, evaluates change orders based on unit costs and scope of work with continuous monitoring of budget and schedule.
- Prepares signage plans for seat locations, meeting spaces, fire safety and way finding and work with employees on furniture requests, ergonomic, collaboration, signage, artwork etc.
- Provide outstanding customer service as a cultural ambassador by addressing inquiries and assisting with various needs promptly and courteously and promoting a positive workplace culture and fostering camaraderie among colleagues.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace design policies, procedures, and general inquiries.
- Checks furniture, power, and communications plans for accuracy, ensures all orders are reviewed and delivered to meet schedule landmarks and leads furniture installation projects and coordinates with workplace services to arrange for furniture deliveries, installations, and repair work as needed.
- Ensures punch list, training, as-built plans, and operations manuals are received and complete.
- Prepares and issues post occupancy evaluations / critical metrics and conducts team meetings to review, track and resolve issues.
- Prepares and evaluates yearly design, furniture, and construction budgets and accounts for variances. Reviews and approves invoices for areas of responsibility.
- Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to mitigate risk; raises appropriately.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 6 years of workplace design or related experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success :
- Project management expertise with excellent communication skills and ability to lead and implement a delivery plan within a matrixed work culture.
- Must have strong technical skills and prior work experience using AutoCAD design software and Microsoft Project and Excel.
- Exemplified team leadership strengths and ability to strategically negotiate vendor contracts.
- Must have expertise reading and understanding floor plans and architectural details.
- Hospitality mindset : Experience with, and have affinity for hospitality industry, workplace experience, organizational culture and design or related field.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
