The 10x Genomics People Team is looking for a Sr Manager, HR Systems to join our People Solutions organization. The role will manage our HR Tech stack, processes and projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate current HR tech stack to drive improvements from a people experience standpoint
- Partner closely with our partners in IT to configure, process improve, and troubleshoot our HRIS, Workday
- Evaluate current pain points within the HR tech ecosystem and make process recommendations to internal partners as well as drive implementation of process changes
- Develop Business Requirement Documentation in partnership with the People Team COEs : Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and other special projects as needed.
- Project manage all system enhancements to ensure they are fit for purpose, which includes user acceptance testing, training and reporting of system enhancements and new projects
- Create process documentation in support of COE programs, including : Support COE activities conducting data validation and post-mortems to improve future planning cycles to improve the employee experience
- Analyze and interpret business process issues and make recommendations to management and the wider People team in relation to system updates and process improvements
- Collaborate with external vendors ensuring data integrity and proactive support
- Upload data as part of the key HR processes - such as compensation planning, promotion and open enrollment
- Be the data custodian for all data that is in our systems
- Pull and analyze data as requested by the CPO and other team members
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and / or related degree
- 8+ years relevant experience with HR systems and / or similar technologies
- Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, and / or other modules
- Experience managing projects in a fast paced environment
- Articulate, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment
- System thinking orientation - comfortable viewing problems and challenges holistically the ability to consider all interdependencies before action
- Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and deliver an excellent work product in a fast-paced, and rapidly changing dynamic company
- Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the ability to exercise discretion and show good judgment;
honesty, integrity, and trust building behaviors in all dealings is essential and required
