Job Overview Assist with the operation and / or maintenance of plant equipment and systems (i.e., boilers, turbine generators, chillers and associated auxiliary utility plant systems).

Essential Functions

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of boilers, chillers, and auxiliary equipment (i.e., blowers, flow meters, pumps, generators, fans and related equipment).
• Perform wet chemistry bench testing, equipment chemical addition, and data entry of all testing and chemical results and information as directed.
• Maintain a safe and efficient power plant operation, including compliance with all plant safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain plant cleanliness at all times.
• Make rounds of plant reading gauges and observing operation of equipment; starts and stops equipment as directed.
• Perform minor maintenance functions as directed.
• Perform related or less skilled duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
