Here at Fusion Transport, we are looking for a dynamic 2nd shift Operations Supervisor to join our team in Piscataway, NJ.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ year of experience and knowledge in supporting 3PL freight operations, understanding of urgencies and proactively engages to support company's needs and uphold company standards.
Time : Monday- Friday 4 : 00PM - 12 : 30AM , with weekend availability as needed.
Must have availability to train on 1st shift for first few weeks.
How You Will Make an Impact :
- Oversee dock operations, this includes the process of loading, managing forklift traffic, and overseeing proper picking / sortation of palletized freight.
- Ensure proper load quality by monitoring the cube and weight of trailers.
- Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers and dock workers.
- Monitor dock production, ensuring facility Key Performance Indicator goals are met and / or exceeded.
- Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT / OSHA standards.
- Ensure company operational model compliance.
- Support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers.

- Experience in managing a team in transportation operations.
- High aptitude for technology
- The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented.
- Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills.
- Must be willing to work 50 hours / week average.
- Must have shift flexibility.
- Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-pressure environment with multiple priorities
- An associate or Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required
