Responsibilities Job Description
Job duties include :
- Transporting patients to and from locations throughout the Riverside Campus to facilitate service and assure patient safety.
- Maintaining equipment and readiness to assure prompt patient delivery.
- Demonstrating appropriate knowledge of safety protocols, infection control standards, and emergency preparedness.
- Working with patients, families, and all members of the medical team.
- Ensuring patient satisfaction by providing prompt and timely responses to all transport related tasks.
- Providing outstanding customer service to patients, families, and all members of the medical team.
Qualifications
Required
Computer experience
Strong communication and customer services skills
Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
Other Qualifications
Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
Ability to lift, transfer and transport patients and equipment
