Meridell Achievement Center is seeking a MUSIC / ART PROGRAM SPECIALIST to join its fun and energetic Recreation Therapy department!
The ideal candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented, organized, able to meet assigned deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.

The Music / Art Program Specialist is a key member of the Recreation Therapy team who is responsible for providing music and art activities for pediatric psychiatric patients.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Certified Recreational Therapist or Master's level Licensed Social Worker or Counselor
- Availability Saturdays, 9am-6pm, to provide group therapy to a diverse population of youth (may require some weekday hours periodically to support recreational therapist / clinical team)
- Must love animals
- Experience working with children and / or adolescents with mental health needs is preferred
- Valid Class C Driver's License (with good driving record)
- Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
- Must be able to meet physical demands of lifting and moving over pounds, walking and standing for long periods of time, and running for short periods of time
