Location : Charlotte, North Carolina
Salary : 90,000USD to 140,000USD / year
Responsibilities :
- Manage the entire estimating and analysis process with support from the Senior Estimator.
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure all necessary information is included.
- Prepare cost estimates by obtaining pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Provide quantity takeoffs and unit prices for review with senior management.
- Train and mentor Junior Estimators in their development.
- Participate in design-assist project phases.
- Meet deadlines and ensure information accuracy.
- Occasionally visit job sites.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in estimating or construction engineering / management is a plus.
- Ability to read plans and specifications for specific disciplines.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Accubid, AutoCAD, and PowerPoint; experience with estimating and scheduling software is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; 5+ years in electrical construction may substitute for a degree.
