Savoy Sharm Group isseeking a skilled and experienced Turkish Chef to join our team.The ideal candidate will be passionate about Turkish cuisine andhave a strong understanding of traditional Turkish cookingtechniques.
The Turkish Chef will be responsible for creating andexecuting authentic Turkish dishes maintaining the cleanliness andorganization of the kitchen and managing the kitchenstaff.
KeyResponsibilities :
Prepare and cooktraditional Turkish dishes according to established recipes andstandards
Develop new menu items and specialsincorporating seasonal and local ingredients
Train andsupervise kitchen staff ensuring highquality food preparation andpresentation
Manage inventory and control foodcosts
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen followingall food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaboratewith other chefs and team members to ensure smooth operation of thekitchen
Attend and participate in team meetings andtraining sessions
Adhere to company policies andprocedures at alltimes
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turkish Chef in a highvolumerestaurant or hotel
Knowledge and understanding ofTurkish cuisine and cooking techniques
Excellentleadership and communication skills
Ability to work in afastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks
Strongorganizational and time management skills
Food SafetyCertification and knowledge of food safety regulations
Team player with a positive attitude and strong workethic
Must be able to work flexible hours includingweekends andholidays
Education :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Culinary degree orrelevant certificationpreferred
PhysicalRequirements :
Must be able to stand forextended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50pounds
Must be able to work in a hot and busy kitchenenvironment
