Position Overview
Our Sacramento Used Truck Center (UTC) is seeking a Business Manager-Senior Finance Accountant to prepare and oversee the UTC's financial and business transactions at the location.
The Business Manager adheres to company directives and policies, to ensure the activity of the operation is accurately reflected in the UTO system on a timely basis and the physical records are in compliance.
Responsibilities Role in safeguarding the used truck inventory. Maintaining accounting records, inventory and sales file, regulatory reports, state sales tax collection and vehicle title work.
Sales and payables processing. Inventory management and reconciliation. Cash management, Bank reconciliation for sales Sales commission processing.
Manage vendor codes, including vendor set-up, terms and additional updates. Work with Dealer Operations Group in renewing dealer licenses and renewing local business licenses as needed.
Provide support to the sales team in matters relating to accounting, tax and title work. Supports internal and external audit requests and maintains a robust internal control environment at the UTC and with the full cooperation and support of the center manager and the sales team.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree At least 4 years of finance and general accounting experience OR Master's degree At least 2 years of finance and general accounting experience OR At least 6 years of finance and general accounting experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
