The Opportunity
As a Financial Planning Regional Specialistyou will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with new and existing Financial Advisors, Financial Planners, Financial Planning Directors, and Support Staff.
The Impact
In partnership with the Regional Director in the designated territory (Mid-Atlantic), you will effectively communicate MassMutual’s financial planning process and our strategic vision to drive growth and achievement through financial planning and advice.
You will help Financial Advisors build an additional revenue stream in their business and ensure that their clients are achieving their financial goals through appropriate product implementation.
Key Responsibilities Include :
Proactive daily phone calls within your designated region to develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with new and existing Financial Advisors, Financial Planners, Financial Planning Directors, and Support Staff
Working directly with Advisors within your designated region to implement financial planning in their practices
Increasing product implementation rates and productivity through planning and sales frameworks coordination with other product lines and partners
Growing financial planning in the designated region through client acquisition strategies and coaching advisors to execute on key marketing activities
Facilitating and conducting virtual training, roles plays and coaching programs
Building long-term, fee-based financial planning practices focused on client experience
The Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Series 6 or 7 required at time of application
Series 63, 65, or 66 at time of application or must obtain within first year
3+ years' experience as a Financial Advisor / Internal Wholesaler or in Financial Planning
3+ years’ experience with data gathering, case analysis and strategy implementation, as well as how to implement ongoing planning through a service model
1+ years experience with some type of fee-based management
Required Travel : 0 15% within designated territory
The Ideal Qualifications
Advanced Degree
Industry designations (i.e. CFP, CLU, CHFC) or currently in progress

Salary Range :
$76,200.00-$100,000.00
