Software Engineer Salesforce
The Software Engineer is responsible for the major systems supporting the various departments. Design, code, test, maintain, and implement programs and systems.
Works with BSA’s and teammates to understand business requirements / processes to provide technical and system support. In addition, the Software Engineer creates technical design docs and test plans based on functional specifications.
This is a remote position.
Software Engineer Salesforce Responsibilities
Works with project managers, development team members, and business analysts to define requirements for enterprise applications.
Designs web interfaces and processes for Member Portal using Salesforce Tools / Technologies to incorporate data from external systems / services.
Experience building applications that consume data via REST / SOAP services.
Support Single Sign On integrations with external applications (knowledge of Identify Frameworks and saml 2.0).
Creates and unit tests code using various testing frameworks.
Documents designs, code and data flows.
Support ongoing Salesforce deployments ensuring deployment processes / pipelines are kept up to date and support migration of code between Salesforce environments.
Maintains and enhances enterprise applications supporting ongoing project work and production support items using Salesforce Omni Studio and other Salesforces products.
Work with analytics team to provide support for ongoing campaign implementations.
Provides technical support to application users as needed.
Keep current with new tools, technologies, and development methodologies.
Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Software Engineer Salesforce Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience specializing in computer science or other technical discipline.
5+ years of Salesforce development experience with Apex, Visualforce, triggers, Salesforce APIs, configuring Salesforce using workflows, validation rules, roles & profiles, reports and dashboards.
Knowledge of the Salesforce lightning design system and working with lightning web components.
Experience with Salesforce to include OmniStudio (i.e., -OmniScript, DataRaptor, FlexCards).
Experience with Salesforce Mobile applications using Salesforce Mobile Publisher.
Salesforce Developer Certification (Preferred).
Strong interpersonal communication skills needed. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to communicate technical solutions in non-technical terms as well as being able to articulate benefits or product limitations within the Salesforce toolset.
Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, organizational, and detail orientation skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and all projects, both large and small, work with frequent interruptions, and shifting priorities.
Must be well versed with SDLC methodologies.
Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.
Ability to come into work on time and daily.
Salary : $89,734.13 $116,679.91 (DOE)
