Starting Rate : $18.00 / hour
Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do :
As a Rolling Machine Operator at Lantech, you will :
- Will be running a rolling machine to specified diameters for angle and flat bar.
- Cutting finished rolled material to specific length after rolling.
- Using a drill press to drill and ream holes to designated size.
- Follow standardized work to ensure safety, quality and productivity goals are met.
- Stand 9-10 hours per day.
- Occasionally lift loads up to 50 lbs.
What are we Looking For? (Requirements)
We are look for someone who :
- Is able to read a tape measure to 1 / 16 inch.
- Focused on work with a high commitment to achieving quality and scheduling goals
- Is detail-oriented and be able to work effectively within a production environment.
- Experience with any type of metal working machine is a plus
- Ability to self-identify problems and support problem solving / solutions
- Is customer focused with a strong commitment to the production schedule.
- Has proven experience using band saw and drill press (strongly preferred).
- Is willing / able to work overtime to complete project and / or meet scheduling deadlines.
- Is capable of lifting loads up to 50 lbs.
- Has a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional training from vocational or trade school is a plus.
