A manufacturing automation company in the greater Boston area is looking to add a Manager of Software Engineering to their core development team.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in the Boston area. The ideal candidate has a few years of management experience under their belt and is skilled in C#, .
NET, SQL, and comes from a manufacturing or automation background.
In this role you will be developing software that is going to be used in the manufacturing process to help speed up clients warehouse production.
Additionally, you will be overseeing a small team of engineers and will also get to meet with clients directly to curate the technology to their needs.
Required Skills & Experience
- Highly skilled in C# and .NET development
- Highly skilled using SQL
- BS / MS degree in Computer Science or related field
- Desktop development using WPF or Winforms
- 8+ years of development experience
- 2+ years of management experience
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience using React
- Past experience in the aviation or manufacturing space
- Exposure to Angular 2+
- Experience using cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
