The Point Casino and Hotel is offering an exciting opportunity at no cost for individuals interested in becoming a Table Games Dealer! We are actively looking for outgoing and friendly individuals who have the desire to learn with basic math skills.
Classes will be held Monday-Friday, 4pm-8pm unless otherwise listed. All students must attend 3 of the 5 offered weekly classes (mandatory), for up to 60 hours.
Hourly wage rate will be paid upon successful completion of the dealer audition. A successful applicant must greet guests while providing friendly and excellent customer service.
Applicants must meet our minimum age requirements of 18 years of age. Applicant must also be willing to work any day of the week and any shift.
Part-Time and Full-Time Table Games Dealer Positions are available.
How You'll Make an Impact :
- Deals cards to players as appropriate according to established rules and regulations.
- Computes payable odds to pay winning bets; pays winning bets and collects losing bets.
- Ensures that wagers are placed before cards are dealt, roulette wheel is spun or dice are tossed.
- Announces winning number, color or hand to players.
- Verifies beginning and ending chip money and money balances and confirms supporting documentation. Receives fills and distributes credits.
- Exchanges paper currency for playing chips.
- Monitors game and notifies supervisor of any disputes, problems or concerns with either a patron or the progress of a game.
What We're Looking For :
- 18+ years old with a High School Diploma / GED or currently enrolled.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain Gaming License.
Good to Have, But Not Required :
Previous experience within the Gaming Industry at a Casino and / or Hotel.
