Director, uBreakiFix Business Development
Location : Nashville, TN

What you will be doing : The Director UBIF Business Development is responsible for the development and implementation of a strategy to increase out of warranty repair volume across the uBreakiFix network.
They will explore external opportunities to increase volume by sourcing, negotiating with, and securing contracts with new partner channels (.
school districts, government entities, . They will work cross-functionally across multiple Asurion teams, including Operations, Partner Programs, Product, Pricing & Marketing, to understand the mix of business across mobile and non-mobile devices and identify opportunities to drive further out of warranty traffic to stores.
In addition, this person will assist in developing and deploying new business ideas, concepts, and strategies that support the growth footprint of the network.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Drive out of warranty business on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis across the uBreakiFix network
Explore opportunities to secure contract with new channels to drive additional and / or exclusive repair volume to the stores, with a specific focus on school districts, government entities, and similar channels
Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc. to demonstrate value proposition to and negotiate contracts with potential channel partners
Work cross-functionally with Product, Partnership teams, Operations, etc. to develop and deploy pilots and longer-term program management across the network
Define key metrics and KPIs for out of warranty growth and pilots ensuring actionable outcomes; provide in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, and solutions on results
Deep dive into each product within mobile and non-mobile devices to understand mix of business and identify opportunities to drive further out of warranty volume
Identify areas of opportunity in pricing and work with Pricing and Operations to develop the best value proposition for our customers
Advise on most impactful ways to establish service offerings, especially in non-mobile categories, to drive increased volume
Partner with Marketing on messaging of service offerings and promotions for maximum impact
Assist in development of new business opportunities or business cases across Asurion Stores
Identification and testing new offers and opportunities aimed at driving volume to stores, including out of warranty repairs and accessory sales
Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
Travel Required; 20% - includes overnight stays.
Supervisory Responsibilities : Individual Contributor.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the team :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required; advanced degree encouraged
3-5 years of experience securing contracts with schools and government entities
Proven sales / business development experience with school districts, OEM’s and or VAR’s
3-5 years of retail operations and / or volume generation experience
Proven ability to lead revenue-focused business transformations & growing customer volumes
Extensive experience in leading & influencing teams working with industry best practices and applying these to create and deliver practical solutions
Experience managing multi-functional business units with P&L, budget, and people management responsibilities
Ability to develop, mentor, and highlight top talent within the business
Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Strong business development and relationship building experience
Strong communication and public speaking skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships and partner effectively across diverse internal and external organizations
Ability to represent UBIF and act as a brand ambassador outside of the office setting
Strong change management and facilitation skills
