Job Description

AECOM / Tishman has an exciting opportunity for an experienced MEP Project Manager for our construction project in Flushing, NY.

  • Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
  • Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.

Position has significant profit / loss responsibility for assigned construction project.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement :

BS / BA Engineering or relevant curriculum and 6 years of construction project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education.

Preferred Requirements :

  • 6-10 years' experience in construction project management.
  • Experience in MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) construction from a larger general contractor.
  • Ability / experience in managing heavy schedule-driven construction projects.
  • Experience in ground up and renovation construction projects, in excess of 200 MM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with construction documentation such as change orders, RFI's, RFP's, etc.
  • Ability to read / interpret drawings.
