Therapeutic Focus is a family-oriented outpatient pediatric therapy clinic seeking a highly motivated, passionate, coachable, tech savvy and creative Speech Language Pathologist (Speech Therapist) to join our growing team.

Our mission is to alleviate cognitive and developmental deficiencies in children by providing safe, ethical and individualized treatment services that will prepare them to thrive within society.

We provide outpatient and school-based therapy to children in Arkansas and Tennessee.

We are currently looking for a Full-Time (or Part Time) Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2023-2024 school year in Crittenden County, Arkansas.

We desire to fill the position before the school year begins in July of 2023.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
  • Basic Internet navigation skills
  • Valid state and national license (where applicable)-ABESPA and ASHA Certifications

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Ability to understand and prepare moderately complex written materials, such as patient records.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with teachers, physicians and other outside professionals.
  • Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment.
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and projects and maintain control of work flow.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Performs initial patient assessment.
  • Implements patient treatments based on assessment and written plan.
  • Provides ongoing patient assessment through observation of patient and review of records.
  • Identifies patient specific therapy rehabilitation learning needs and provides appropriate education.
  • Demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities for self-development and enhancement of professional competency.
