Description & Requirements Maximus is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Clinical Review Coordinator to ensure the quality and accuracy of assessments and clinical operations.

This role is predominantly focused on writing, with 80% dedicated to drafting determination reports that are essential for documenting critical recommendations and eligibility decisions.

The remaining 20% involves reviewing clinical documentation for completeness, ensuring adherence to contract standards, and providing valuable input to maintain our high quality standards and support the overall quality of our services.

We are seeking professionals with the following credentials : LCSW, LMSW, LCT, LMFT, or equivalent licensures. This position is ideal for individuals with a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field, and at least four years of experience in the mental health or social services sectors, including reviewing clinical assessments.

Additionally, a minimum of four years' experience working specifically with child and adolescent mental health is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Responsible for reviewing documentation and / or assessments and applying clinical criteria to complete determinations, approvals or recommendations.

  • Determine need for and obtain any additional information required to complete actions. - Determine when escalation or consultation is required with supervisor, physician or related medical or related clinical discipline.
  • Complete reports or documentation in accordance with contract requirements. - Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Preferred knowledge may include community support programs, long-term care assessment and level of care in medical, behavioral health or related programs - Knowledge and understanding of medical and / or behavioral health diagnoses and prescribed medications - Ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work independently and meet timelines Minimum Requirements - Education and licensure requirements are based on program contract requirements and are outlined in job posting - High School Degree or equivalent required - Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required - LPN, RN, LCSW, or related licensure may be required based on contract requirements - Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health or related degree program - Valid mental health licensure (e.
