As a Stroke Quality Improvement Nurse , you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize stroke patient outcomes.
This position will service The Johns Hopkins Hospital East Baltimore Campus. In this role you will collect and enter data for Comprehensive Stroke Center performance measures into a stroke database (data management and neurology / stroke experience preferred.)
Responsibilities include :
- Data analysis / abstraction
- Data entry into the stroke database
- Coordination of patient care
- Participation in quality improvement projects
- Participation in community outreach
- Other duties as assigned

Who Should Apply :
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing is required
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
- BLS CPR certification required
- 3 years of acute care RN experience; stroke and / or neurology experience preferred
- Must be well-organized and highly detail oriented
- Research Nurse that manages databases
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
