The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Recruitment and Onboarding (40%) :
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
- Develop and maintain a candidate pipeline through various recruitment channels.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and onboarding sessions.
- Ensure a positive candidate and new hire experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Training and Development (20%) :
- Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and develop training programs.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for new and existing employees.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration (20%) :
- Process payroll accurately and timely using ADP or other payroll systems.
- Ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures, including deductions, taxes, and benefits administration.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
- Employee Relations and Compliance (20%) :
- Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Support HR compliance initiatives, including maintaining employee records and ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and processing termination paperwork.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in recruiting, with a strong background in managing a candidate pipeline
- 2+ years of experience in HR generalist roles, with exposure to various HR functions.
- Proficiency in ADP or similar payroll systems is required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with multi-state employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with 401K plan day to day administration
This position requires regular and consistent on-site presence at our Georgetown facility. The employee is expected to be physically present 4 / 5 days per week.
This is essential to effectively fulfill responsibilities that involve direct interaction with employees.
