Wellingtons LA, a direct-to-consumer frozen food brand dedicated to bringing elevated ready-to-bake gourmet food to customers all around the world, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to help lead our business to new heights and verticals.
As the Director / Chief Operating Officer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our sourcing, manufacturing, and fulfillment processes, building a workflow and team to ensure we are operating as efficiently as possible.

- We're a small team of 5 including a husband and wife founding team who are very involved with the day to day operations of the business
- Currently selling our products on Goldbelly, Amazon, QVC, and our own website.
- Onboarding with Costco and WIlliams-Sonoma
- Currently self-producing and self-fulfilling all products from our facility in Downtown LA
- Onboarding with a 3PL to take over fulfillment

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to all operational departments within the business.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the hiring and training of staff, ensuring a high standard of performance and service.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvement strategies as needed.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for supplies and services.
- Collaborate with the executive team to create and execute innovative initiatives to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the food and / or beverage e-commerce industry.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce operations and industry best practices.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop and monitor budgets and financial statements.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Valid food handling and safety certification.

Compensation
- Base : $85,000 - $150,000 + performance based bonuses + stock
