Job Description
Public Storage is seeking a Contracted Services Manager to act as a primary Liaison between our field locations and national account vendors.
This role is crucial for ensuring seamless communication, maintaining service quality, and optimizing vendor performance to meet the needs of our field operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Vendor Relationship Management : Serve as the main point of contact for all vendors under national contracts.Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high levels of service and support.
Conduct regular meetings with vendors to review performance and address any issues or concerns.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting : Monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon metrics and service level agreements (SLAs).
Experience in defining, tracking, and managing KPIs related to vendor performance, including delivery times, quality of services, cost efficiency, and compliance.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors.Generate reports on vendor performance and provide insights to senior management.
Field Support Liaison : Act as a liaison between field operations and vendors to address service-related issues promptly.
Partner with field locations in resolving any vendor-related problems or escalations. Lead the implementation of vendor services and ensure they align with field requirements.
Process Improvement : Identify and develop strategies for improving vendor services to our strategic field partners, and reducing cost.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement process improvements.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for vendor management.
Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure all vendor activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Manage risk associated with vendor services, including conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
Contract Management : Oversee and manage all aspects of national contracts with vendors.Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Source and negotiate contracts for existing and new services.Negotiate contract renewals, amendments, and extensions as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing and driving vendor performance.
- 1+ years of experience managing national or large-scale contracts.
- Experience with SLAs and performance metrics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze financial reports and budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ability to build and maintain professional internal and external relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in managing projects and leading with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple contracts and tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
