Position : General and 1 : 1 Nursing Staff
Location : Lathrop, CA
Job Details :
- Full-time positions available for the 2024-25 school year
- Hours : 7-hour days
Responsibilities :
- Administer medications and perform health assessments
- Manage student health records and ensure accurate data entry
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student well-being
- Serve one school site per nurse for general duties
- Provide 1 : 1 support for students with specific medical needs
- Provide professional nursing services, mandated health screenings, and health education to students (0-22 years of age), parents, and district employees
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
- California Nurse Credential (can apply afterwards)
- CPR / AED Certification
- Preferred background / experience in school nursing, pediatric nursing, community health nursing, critical care nursing, medical-surgical nursing, and / or emergency room nursing
