This Trade Marketing Managerposition works out of Alameda, CA location. Abbott has a rich history of developing cutting edge technologies that enable consumers to monitor and manage their health and wellbeing.
We are now embarking on an exciting next gen new venture of Biowearables that will build on that heritage and take it farther - leveraging biomarkers to provide wearers insights into their physical and mental state, ultimately driving to greater performance.
The Lingo Biowearables business is the face and the future of the organization.
You will be responsible for managing, planning, and implementing marketing activity with retail partners including in-store, advertising, promotional, digital and mobile communications.
You will also drive the development of product promotion plans in collaboration with global marketing and DTC team. You will act as a brand champion and ensures all communications is consistent and accurately supports the brand strategy.
You are the conduit and hub within the marketing organization to coordinate and support all retail activities.
What You'll Work On
- Manage the development of marketing and sales / promotional materials to effectively promote and sell. Recommends and executes promotion plans.
- Provide channel strategy expertise.
- Manage and track effectiveness to modify and improve promotion development.
- Manage annual budget
- Manage promotional calendar with all external partners
- Partner with retailers to maximize Lingo in all channels, physical and digital.
- Champion the Lingo and Abbott brand in all materials and ensures it is aligned to the corporate brand standards.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Customer centric marketing experience
- Experience working with online retailers including Amazon
- Proven track record of delivering measurable, successful multi-channel, sales-enabling campaigns.
- Project management skills a must, managing work demands effectively and thriving in a fast-paced business environment
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
