Freelance Videographer / Producer

Frequency : Projected to handle 3 projects per quarter, approximately 1 per month
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a high-level Freelance Videographer / Producer for our client. This freelance position will involve working on various video projects, including directing, editing, and producing high-quality corporate videos, commercials, and digital ads.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in corporate video production and a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop project concepts, styles, and delivery timelines.
- Set up and operate cameras, audio recorders, lighting, microphones, and props.
- Capture b-roll and primary footage and manage on-set production.
- Edit video and audio footage using Adobe Premiere Pro and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- Insert closed captioning, graphics, special effects, and on-screen text.
- Create basic animated graphics and motion graphics.
- Improve marketing project management by performing hygiene on open requests and establishing templates for repeatable project types.
- Produce company-wide town halls and live events as needed.
- Record and edit weekly educational vignettes and other regularly scheduled content.
- Work with other video producers and managers.
- Develop relationships with senior and executive leaders to manage expectations and deliver support for key business initiatives.
- Calibrate and maintain professional video and audio equipment and studio space.
- Occasionally manage time-bound, purpose-oriented projects or sub-projects of larger efforts, ensuring task completion and progress updates to end-users.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in corporate video production, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- Strong understanding of professional video and audio equipment, and post-production techniques.
- Experience with corporate digital ads and storyboarding through to production and editing.
- Familiarity with marketing project management systems and digital asset management strategies is desired.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently under deadline pressure.
- Creativity and a passion for capturing and telling compelling stories through video.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with creative directors, designers, and non-creative department leaders.
Preferred Experience :
- Previous experience in healthcare or with consumer brands.
- Experience working with an agency, in addition to corporate environments.
- Having a personal crew is a plus, but not required.
