Electrical Tech/Panel Builder

Position Overview

The Electrical Tech / Panel Builder will be responsible for building and assembling electrical control panels for various industrial and commercial applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in panel building, electrical wiring, and electrical integration to ensure the panels are built to specifications and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to build control panels
• Select and install electrical components, such as circuit breakers, relays, and switches
• Wire panels according to specifications, ensuring proper connections and wire routing
• Perform panel testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and safety
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure panel designs meet requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following company safety protocols
• Provide technical support to customers and assist with installation and commissioning of panels

Qualifications

• Previous experience in panel building and electrical integration
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and wiring techniques
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
• Ability to use hand and power tools for panel assembly and wiring
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus
