The Company

Our mission is to build the most trust with private sellers of used vehicles by creating the easiest way to maximize how much money they get for them.

If you read our reviews, our customers love what we're doing and we will not stop until we can offer our services to every private seller in the United States.

We've been in business for four years and we are currently in Utah, Idaho, and Arizona. Future markets are Nevada, New Mexico, and Colorado.

At this stage, our number one priority is to build a solid foundation for the future of Gauge by adding the right talent to our team and developing them (40% of our staff has been promoted within the last year!).

The Position

You will be working with private sellers of used vehicles over the phone. You'll be actively managing a sales pipeline, but most importantly, providing a great experience and buying their vehicle.

The great news is they want to sell their vehicle so it's a much warmer lead than most other industries. Also, it's a much shorter sales cycle and you can expect to buy 3,4,5, or more vehicles per day.

It's an easy process, however, it is difficult to execute unless you have the right mindset. To maximize your income potential and achieve your personal and professional goals, you must come into this role with grit and a growth mindset.

We would prefer you come with sales and negotiating experience, however, if you have the right attitude and work ethic, we can teach you the rest.

Job Duties

  • Reach out to our private seller leads via call, text, or email
  • Discuss and negotiate offers with sellers and purchase their vehicles
  • Communicate with private sellers through inbound and outbound channels to effectively persuade them to work with Gauge
  • Collaborate with our internal team to ensure proper price and process for every seller
  • Clearly document all calls, interactions and pertinent details
  • Expect to spend 80% of your time on the phone
  • Communicating with all levels of the organization
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Compensation

  • $84,000 - $200,000+ (Base Plus Uncapped Commission)

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in inside sales, negotiation, or equivalent is a plus
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales metrics
  • Available to work every other Saturday (with a comp day during the week)
