Overview :
The Collibra Developer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing data governance solutions using Collibra.
They work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that data governance practices align with business objectives and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Designing and implementing data governance solutions using Collibra
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements for data governance initiatives
- Developing and maintaining data governance workflows, roles, and responsibilities within Collibra
- Customizing Collibra DGC (Data Governance Center) based on organizational needs
- Integrating Collibra with other data management systems and tools
- Creating and maintaining data quality rules and metrics in Collibra
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for Collibra implementations
- Developing and implementing data stewardship processes within Collibra
- Participating in Collibra platform upgrades and enhancements
- Training and supporting end-users on Collibra functionalities and best practices
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in implementing data governance solutions using Collibra
- Strong proficiency in data governance concepts and best practices
- Proficiency in SQL and database management
- Experience with data integration and ETL tools
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, for scripting and automation
- Understanding of data quality management and metadata management
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
