Our US Systems and Control Integration Engineer (SCIE) will need to have experience with Industrial Automation tools, along with experience in configuring and testing SCADA / BMS Systems.
The position will include programming and troubleshooting PLC software and install Controls Solutions. This position is also required to establish communication between the Elutions Maestro Solution and external systems.
The communication protocols mostly used for this are Modbus, OPC and BACNet.
The SCIE will contribute to our global integration processes and methodology improvements. You will be expected to respond professionally to customer queries.
This role is responsible for regular reporting, team meeting attendance, solution development and implementation.
Entry level candidates and recent graduates with a strong academic background covering basic qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Basic Qualifications
- Working knowledge of industrial IT systems
- PLC programming exposure
- Knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
- Awareness of HVAC / BMS operation
- Knowledge of TCP / IP Networking
- Exposure to Ladder Diagram, Function block diagram, Structured Text
- Protocols knowledge of Modbus, OPC and BACNet
- Willingness to travel up to 40%, domestic and international to work on client sites
- Ability to self-manage, multi-task and keep track of simultaneous on-going projects, including some customer interface
- Proficient with the MS Office suite
- Effective interpersonal skills, organization / prioritization and administrative skills
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have excellent troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Electrical (Controls) Engineering or related discipline
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Experience of Site-wise BMS / Control System Deployment
- Familiarization with HVAC equipment and Building Management Systems.
- Ability to discuss and pre-analyze hardware / software issues.
- Working knowledge of Diagnostic tools; the ability to read schematics and use tools to detect hardware / software problems
