Overview :

Under the direction of the Manager, will perform a wide variety of duties to provide clerical and administrative support.

Activities include, but are not limited to : phones, billing, appointment scheduling, patient registration, office supply inventory, transcription, filing, insurance verification and other duties as assigned.

Interacts with co-workers and members of other departments. Assists in unit operational support tasks; assists with Human Resources management;

works cooperatively with others as part of a team and recognizes the importance of group goals. Responds to requests within authorized scope of knowledge and skills.

Qualifications :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent required with coursework in clerical skills.

Experience : A minimum of five years experience in a medical office setting.

Other : Typing proficiency required. Medical terminology required.
