This role helps align strategy and execution by applying Lean and systems thinking approaches to strategy and investment funding, Agile portfolio operations, andernance.

The IT Portfolio Analyst shall support the prioritization of work and financial accountability for the products and solutions within a portfolio.

This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in an office location (Add locations) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Plan and monitor IT budgets to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives / objectives
• Forecast future budget needs, measure portfolio performance, and coordinate requiredpliance activities
• Assist with department financial operations, review outlook locks, provide operations planning, monthly reserving, capitalization, financial reporting and support of the Chief Information Office(CIO)
• Oversee vendor management on contracts, purchase orders, MBM and invoice approvals
• Partner with the Senior Portfolio Lead to champion the finance evolution to Agile which includes funding value streams, product vs.

project mindset and Agile estimation

Assist in developing and maintaining a workforce strategy, inclusive of vendor partners, such that the ratios of employee / vendor, onshore / offshore, HIG offices, etc.

• Provides support for data capture, metrics, measurement, ratios, projections around work force. Understanding current and target teampositions, and path forward via hiring and other levers.
• Coordination of required or needed training, continuous learning activities
• Contribute towards the identification and definition of development value streams across the portfolio and alignment to the CIO technology roadmap.
• Partner closely with Senior Portfolio Lead to contribute to ensuring the phase gate deliverables areplete and establishing the investment prioritization process is transparent and collaborative
• Provide support to establish portfolio flow to visualize and limit Work in Process (WIP), reduce batch sizes of work and control the length of longer-term development queues
• Assist with establishing and maintaining an overall CIO portfolio view
• Provide support to prepare for portfolio health reviews, scorecards, MOR meetings
• Assist with the reporting of key portfolio metrics (, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, productivity, agility, time-to-market, quality, partner health)
• Assist with coordinating a continuous approach to ensurepliance with audit and regulatory requirements and non-discretionary initiatives
• Assists with Rally support and data management

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of one year of change / project / portfolio management experience or equivalent leadership experience
• Experience with agile methodology and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
• Knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team needs includes fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
• Experience managing financials and knowledge of IT financial management practices
• Understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile
• Highly proficient in MS Office technology with advanced skills in Excel (V-look Ups, Pivot Tables & What / If Statements)
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to establish, build and influence productive business partnerships within a matrixed environment
• Capacity for strategic thinking and mental agility in changing work environments and concurrent work tasks

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration ofpetencies required for the role.

The base pay is just oneponent of The Hartford's totalpensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.

The annualized base pay range for this role is :

$95,600 - $143,400
