- Accurately delivers all products by bottle, case, or pallet from the delivery truck to the customer’s account by hand truck.
- Safely operate commercial vehicle and properly conduct a pre and post trip inspection, notating any vehicle defects.
- Make an average of 20 timely deliveries a day. May deliver to more accounts during high volume seasons.
- Verify receipt of correct order with the customer by checking product against invoice, obtains customer signature and payment if necessary, for goods received.
- Ensure physical security of truck at all times.
- Provide regular feedback to management in terms of route changes, concerns or areas of opportunity.
- Abide by the DOT hours of service rules and regulations for their license type.
- May utilize a smartphone for interaction with hours of service (HOS) software, point of delivery (POD) invoicing and / or driver monitoring programs.?
