Akkodis is seeking a Record Clerk for a Contract position with a client in Chicago, IL (100% Onsite). Ideally, we are looking for applicants with a solid background Record Clerk and extensive experience with File Clerk, Record Clerk, Documentation & File Trail.

Pay Range : $17 to $19 / hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Top 3 Required Skills :

1. At least 2 years of experience in a professional office setting as a file or records clerk.

2. Familiarity with records application / document management systems, such as File Trail.

3. Previous experience working in a law firm (strongly preferred)

Requirements :

  • Be personable, articulate, knowledgeable and professional in presenting oneself in a professional setting
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to function with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy in handling any "complaint situations"
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented and exceptionally attentive to accuracy.
  • Ability to learn skills quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Customer service and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to routinely stand, bend and stretch.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (4 years of college preferred)
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional office environment working in a file or records clerk capacity.
  • Experience with FileTrail preferred
  • Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
  • Previous experience in a client service-oriented field preferred
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
