Description of Position :
The Venture Academy is seeking a paraprofessional for the 2024-2025 school year to support students in grades 6 - 12, in an alternative school setting.
An excellent health and medical benefits plan is available. The hired candidate will be required to become Serve Safe trained and able to serve lunch to students in the school cafeteria.
All Serve Safe training is paid for and scheduled through Meriden Public Schools.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who present social, emotional, and academic challenges. The paraprofessional supports the classroom teacher with a variety of different tasks, such as working with students in small groups or redirecting students back to task.
