Endeavor Health’s Skokie Hospital is in search of a Sterile Processing Tech to join the HLDS team!
Location : 9600 Gross Point Rd. Skokie, IL 60076
Position : High Level Disinfection & Sterilization (HLDS) Support Specialist
Pay : $50,071 - $70,000 based on experience
Sign-On Bonus : $5,000
Responsibilities-
1. Basic tray assembly, decontamination. Everyone in the Sterile Processing Department will be putting together trays, regardless of leadership title.
2. Supports operational needs of identified areas with High Level Disinfection / Sterilization (HLDS).
3. Assists with reporting trend analysis in the areas of : budgets, statistics, capital requests, patient satisfaction surveys and strategic plans.
4. Works with SPD Leadership to develop and apply department policies
5. Performs all financial reconciliation and variance analysis.
6. Reports directly to Manager, HLDS Operations.
Must Haves :
- CRCST certification from IAHCSMM or CSPDT certification from CBSPD. CRCST certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of sterile processing technician experience. Should have experience in project management and staff education.
