Channel Sales Manager

Metronet’s Channel Sales Manager will act as a liaison between our sales Channel Partners and Metronet. This individual will provide our existing channel sales account base with pre-sales support, product training and promote the Metronet value proposition to our external partners.

Candidate must have a strong understanding of the telecommunication landscape to navigate both complex business relationships and technical requirements of service provider solution offerings.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Serve as the subject matter expert to our existing channel partner base on all Metronet products, including internet, voice and HPBX services
  • Develop strong relationships with our current channel partners to bring added awareness to the Metronet brand
  • Act as the primary point of contact for agent account renewal and retention efforts
  • Anticipate, troubleshoot and collaborate among internal teams, including sales engineering, technical operations, business order processing, and the legal department
  • Provide proposals and presentations, assist agents in managing their customers and prospects
  • Assist the Director of Channel Sales with new agent onboarding- guiding new agents through our agent portal, sales process, and demonstrating the tools we provide to them to successfully position Metronet’s value proposition with prospective customers
  • Coordinate regular outreach to the current agent base to promote upcoming training programs as they’re scheduled
  • Continually review and evolve processes used to track, oversee and organize customer interactions
  • Document lessons learned and implement improved best practices
  • Interface with the Metronet team to provide and obtain relevant information as required
  • Work from home
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Extensive technical telecommunication support experience
  • Proven work experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • 10+ years of telecommunications experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year College, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
