Independent ContractorsDuties :
- The physicalcharacteristics exterior measurements general conditionsphotographs unusual hazards and recommendations associated with aproperty are part of our comprehensive reports that summarize theobservable hazards associated with a risk.
- Theabove information is used by our client companies to determinewhether a risk meets the carriers eligibilityrequirements.
- Inspectors are the eyes for theinsurance underwriter who is generally in another area and confinedto an office.
Inspectors set theirown hours and work schedules in which they organize to accommodatethe needs of our clients.
Insurance Inspector Independent ContractorQualifications :
- Be anenergetic individual capable of completing a high volume ofinsurance inspections.
- Be motivated analyticalresourceful decisive and have good problemsolvingskills.
- Have solid written composition andverbal communication skills.
- Have a strongdesire to succeed and work independently with limited direction& guidance.
- Be selfdisciplined organizedand able to manage an aggressive workload and have the ability toprioritize and schedule inspections timely andefficiently.
- Not necessary but a plus : VIITACertification previous experience inconstruction / plumbing / electrical industries lifesafety / firefighting general contracting or propertymanagement.

- Broadband internet connection
- Digital camera or smart phone capable ofinterfacing with your PC

- Reliable insured transportation andvalid drivers license
- A measuring wheel monopodand a clipboard.
