Role Purpose Statement
Administrative position with responsibility for monitoring driver SOP and working with the department to ensure compliance in addition to maintaining & monitoring employee safety
Main Accountabilities
- Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers
- Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files
- Processing of all Port Authority / Customs identifications
- Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures
- Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mus posses a valid drivers license a nd be able to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days of hire
- 3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with large groups must be flexible
- Open availability, ability to work nights and weekends as operations require
- Usual shift will be 4am - 1230pm and schedule will be either Wed-Sun or Thurs-Mon
