Position Overview :
EnDyna is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations (DOO) to manage day-to-day operations. This role will be primarily based at EnDyna’s office in Tysons Corner / McLean, with visits to client teams around the DMV area and occasional travel to remote work sites within the continental United States.
The DOO is expected to be in the office a minimum of four days a week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Monitoring : Collaborate with project managers to structure, monitor, and troubleshoot projects. Step into project or client management roles when necessary.
- Recruiting : Partner with project managers to determine hiring needs. Work with HR to develop hiring pipelines, manage advertising, select candidates, and oversee the onboarding of employees and individual contractors to their projects.
- Partnership Management : Coordinate with Contracts and Accounting to structure and monitor agreements with subcontractors, prime contractors, and individual contractors.
Ensure compliance with subcontract terms.
- Audit Preparation : Collaborate with HR and Accounting to provide annual audit data to GSA and participate in audits as needed.
- Financial Management : Ensure timely submission of invoices and payment to vendors in coordination with Accounting.
- HR Management : Work with HR and project managers to implement employee performance reviews.
- IT Management : Ensure personnel have the required equipment, access to SharePoint / Teams, software subscriptions, and service subscriptions in coordination with IT support.
- Business Development : Support business development efforts by responding to RFIs and RFPs and discussing go / no-go decisions with upper management.
Qualifications :
- Experience :
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in managing operations for federal government contractors with 50-70 employees.
- Ideally experienced in science and engineering-based professional services companies.
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences (environmental, chemistry, biology, physics) or engineering.
- MBA, MPA, or MS in Management preferred.
- Security :
- S. Citizen with a clear financial background and no criminal history.
- Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance strongly preferred.
