If a station in the banquet room is a symphony, the server is its conductor. Servers are responsible for leading and maintaining the communication between the entire service team, while also being the primary presence at the table.
Servers must be able to delegate and prioritize quickly and constantly. Servers take control and ownership of every guest’s experience.
Servers have a high degree of emotional intelligence and deliver thoughtful, empathy-driven service as a result of this.
They have a strong, confident presence at the table that is derived from their comprehensive food, wine, and spirits knowledge.
Requirements :
We are seeking a hard-working and experienced banquet server. The ideal candidate is courteous, professional, and works well with a team.
They are responsible for greeting guests, helping them find their seats, and serving food and drinks throughout the event.
A Banquet Server is also responsible for assisting with planning events, preparing and cleaning up the event, serving guests, and responding to questions, complaints and special requests.
In order to be successful in the banquet server role, candidates must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Professionalism, politeness, and efficiency as a server are also required.
- May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- The position requires mobility. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, kneel, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects.
- Duties require attentiveness to visual and audible cues.
- May be required to work in the heat and sun for periods of time.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- May be required to climb step stools of a height of 3 feet.
- Must be capable of working under pressure.
