About the Role :

As our Commercial Title Examiner, you'll dive deep into the fascinating world of property titles, uncovering the legal intricacies of commercial and industrial real estate.

This isn't just about paperwork - it's about being a detective, analyst, and problem-solver all rolled into one!

What You'll Do :

• Embark on title examination adventures, from simple parcels to complex commercial properties
• Analyze a wide array of records, including mortgages, leases, liens, and more
• Play detective to resolve missing or contradictory information in title documentation
• Craft accurate title commitments and reports that stand up to scrutiny
• Leverage your expertise to provide underwriting interpretations
• Utilize cutting-edge online research tools to stay ahead of the game

What You'll Bring :

• 3-5+ years of Michigan Commercial Title Examiner experience (this is crucial!)
• A superhuman ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• An eagle eye for detail and a passion for quality
• Sherlock Holmes-level analytical and problem-solving skills
• Top-notch communication skills - you'll be collaborating with a global team
• Proficiency in MS Office and industry-specific software (Adobe Acrobat, DataTree & Trace, etc.)

Salary Range : $23.82 - $39.71 Hourly

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
