Position Summary : This coach will work with medical staff, coordinators, and Player Development front office to facilitate the execution of pitchers' rehabilitation programming in addition to executing individual rehab pitcher player plans at the complex.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Collaborate with medical group, pitching coordinator and front office group to develop individualized rehabilitation programs for pitchers.
• Communicate rehabilitation plans, goals, and progress to both players and relevant staff members.
• Collaborate with pitching coordinator and front office group to develop individualized player plans for rehabbing pitchers.
• Serve as a liaison between medical and pitching departments.
• Coordinate and plan pitcher rehabilitation schedules at complex.
• Work with the front office staff to implement organizational initiatives.
• Collaborate with Strength & Conditioning, Athletic Training, and Medical staff to identify physical limitations and develop remedies to improve them.
• Work with the Sports Psych team to implement mental skills initiatives into players daily schedules.

Required Experience and Education :

Coaching experience.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Ability to use and interpret modern pitching technology and information.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well with people in a variety of departments, including players, coaches, coordinators, and front office staff.
• Interest in player development, strength & conditioning, analytics, and advanced stats.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Fluency in Spanish.
• Professional or collegiate playing.
• Strength & Conditioning related degree.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to throw batting practice.
• Ability to lift items weighing as much as 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of work day.
• Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer, keyboard and telephone.
• Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to walk steps to visit fans during games.
• Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, dining room, etc.
• Must be able to work extended hours and / or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling.
