Position Summary :
Under direct supervision of a Pharmacist, assists in the timely and accurate dispensing of sterile hazardous and non-hazardous medications to patients in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Work Schedule :
Day / Evening Rotating, Every 3rd Weekend / Holiday
Required Qualifications :
- Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Technician certification required. Certification as CPhT through either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT).
- Math aptitude is required. Ability to mathematically compute and convert drug concentrations and doses.
Preferred Qualifications :
One or more years Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
