Summary :
The Design Assurance Intern performs as a member of the Quality Assurance / Design Assurance teams. The Student contributes to the execution of Quality related projects, assists in maintaining Design Controls procedures and processes, and performs other tasks as assigned.
The Student is expected to manage multiple work assignments within clearly defined parameters as directed by technical professionals on the Quality teams and the Design Assurance Supervisor.

Responsibilities :
- Maintains and updates Quality documents and procedures
- Assists with the integration of new technologies, methods, and processes into the Quality Management System
- Maintains and updates Risk Management File electronic records
- Maps Hollister Design Control procedures, showing linkages and relationships
- Suggests new ideas for process improvement
- Creates effective and accurate records
- Contributes to the execution of QE projects / protocols
- Applies general principles and practices of Quality Engineering to work
- Maintains Quality retained sample storage area
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
- Participation in a Co-operative Education program in an accredited program of study leading to a Baccalaureate degree in an engineering discipline.
- Collects and records data in an organized and legible fashion
- Basic proficiency in company standard office automation software
- Follows quality processes when handling assignments
- Possesses basic mathematical & statistical ability
- Cooperates with other team members
- Demonstrates interest in team activities and positively contributes to outcomes
- Regular attendance is expected of all associates. Reliable transportation to Hollister’s Libertyville headquarters is required
