Job Summary :

We are seeking a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of infrastructure-related projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in IT infrastructure, including networking, data centers, cloud services, and server management, with proven experience in project management.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to implementation, testing, and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Planning & Execution : Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, including hardware upgrades, network expansions, cloud migrations, and disaster recovery implementations.
  • Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with key stakeholders, including IT teams, vendors, and business units, to define project objectives, scope, and requirements.
  • Team Coordination : Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, developers, and other technical staff to ensure that project milestones are achieved.
  • Budget & Resource Management : Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Risk & Issue Management : Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
  • Vendor Management : Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including procurement, contract negotiations, and ensuring delivery according to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Documentation & Reporting : Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Quality Assurance : Ensure that all infrastructure solutions meet business requirements and comply with industry standards and best practices.
  • Post-Implementation Support : Ensure that adequate support and maintenance processes are in place following the deployment of infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience : 5+ years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure, networking, data centers, or cloud computing.
  • Technical Skills : Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including networking (LAN / WAN), cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), data centers, storage solutions, and server management.
  • Project Management Tools : Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello) and collaboration tools (e.

g., Confluence, Slack, MS Teams).

  • Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
  • Leadership : Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and handle high-pressure environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure upgrades or cloud migrations.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and contracts.
  • ITIL certification or similar experience in IT service management.
  • Familiarity with security standards and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
