About Our Client

My client is a National General Contractor out of St. Louis, MO with yearly revenue of $800M+ across the company. Some projects include multifamily (senior-living, higher education housing, apartments / condos), light industrial (warehouses, distribution centers, light manufacturing), and commercial.

Currently experiencing a lot of backlog, so there is a strong pipeline of work going into 2025. They have been fortunate to experience excellent employee tenure due to their industry leading benefits package, local work, and promotion opportunities.

Job Description

  • Responsible for all project operations while working closely with owners and internal / external project teams
  • Plans and coordinates project activities inline company polices and procedures
  • Lead the ground-up construction projects
  • Creates and reviews project schedules
  • Partner with client from preconstruction phase through closeout
  • Direct the support staff and coordinate with field crews and superintendents to ensure project delivery
  • Establishes and fosters relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
  • Responsible for forecasting and estimating costs and changes to costs for project completion
  • Assist in hiring and mentoring new employees

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 5+ years of experience with a general contractor
  • Experience in ground up industrial, multifamily, and / or commercial office space
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Organized and communicative
  • Experience leading ground-up projects $20M+
  • Experience in design / build
  • Procore software
  • Must be a hard worker with the ability to take initiative
  • Lead by example
